About the AQMM Self Evaluation Utility

Designed to support firms in carrying out self evaluation under the Audit Quality Maturity Model.

Enables firms to assess their audit quality maturity level through a structured Excel-based format.

Section-wise Scoring

Provides a systematic scoring approach across relevant AQMM areas for internal evaluation.

Summary Output

Helps firms review the summary result and understand their maturity level and review readiness.

How to determine the Firm's Maturity Level

  1. Enter the score in Column G of the ""Self Evaluation"" tab.
  2. A grey cell in column G indicates that the user has inadvertently not assigned any score for that particular sub-section and therefore a score has to be filled by him/her.
  3. Column ""B"" of the tab ""Summary"" indicates the count of zeroes under each section. Users are therefore advised to re-check whether a score other than zero needs to be assigned.
  4. After completion of steps 1,2 & 3 above, the ""Summary"" tab indicates whether the firm is eligible for AQMM review or not. In case it is eligible, the level of firm is ascertained under this tab."
